I used to have a 8gb Kingston and it worked wonders but for some reason it burned, my brother said that when you install there's a chance that happens or something in that manner.

Both Corsair and Kingston are 2x4 gb. I heard about G.skills and Crucial and other big brands but how do i know they would fit my motherboard?

My graphic card is a MSI r6950 Twin Frozr III 2GB
Procesor is Intel Core i5-2310 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90GHz quad core
64 bits
My Power Supply is a XFX Pro580W*

I'm not plaining on overclocking or anything nasty i just want enough ram to be able to play most games at max graphics flawlessly. I'm willing to spend 100$ max.

If i said anything wrong i have close to no idea about electronics or english lenguage.

* If anyone speaks spanish the name of this thing is "fuente" is "supply power" correct translation?
