sata ports blocking graphics card

hi I was looking to upgrade my graphics card and i got it today and i had opened the pc up and i realised that the sata ports were right besides the graphics card slot , blocking the sata cables (i only use 2 slots). my graphics card is a xfx dd amd radeon hd7850 2gb and my mother board is MSI FM2-A55M-E33 uATX Motherboard, if you search for images of the motherboard you will see its blocking it.
also what does a sata pci card do because it looks like a extension for that sata so i thought i could use that

and does the edition of the graphics card matter because there are a few of the one i have

and if you look at the sata ports you will see there blocking it

Why not try the L shaped SATA cables ?? It might solve your issue.
