One of the more commonly recommended coolers is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, it usually runs $20-30 and based on that frosty tech chart only gives you 6C higher temperatures than a Corsair H100i, but also runs notably quieter than an H100i(59.4dB vs 47.1dB). Personally I don't feel that the close loop liquid cooling systems are worth 3x the price.
It looks like the Evo is currently 35 on amazon versus 27 for the plus, the evo isn't worth the extra $7, but the price varies depending on popularity, if...
depends on what youre doing with it. if you arent overclocking you can use stock, for smaller overclocks an aftermarket air cooler or one of the closed loop water coolers would work fine, generally the big ass watercooling systems are for people who like monkeying with stuff like that as well as more extreme overclocks.

I'm probably gonna be doing a little overclocking, but I've heard that maintaining a water cooling system is a pain.
