Which of these motherboards are better?

Just wondering which of these motherboards are better.. I have checked both of the specs and they are near identical. Just wanted to know what you guys thought..

Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 AMD 970 AM3+

Gigabyte 970A-DS3P AMD 970A AM3+

both pretty much junk if you want to overclock. and i wouldn't put a 125w piledriver in them either. but for an fx 63xx or fx 43xx; or an older phenomII x4 or less they should be alright.

doesn't really matter which one you go with... asus has miserable customer service but slightly better quality then gigabyte. there is your basic difference.

Is there a better one for overclocking at around the same price? I doubt there will be though..

around $100 you can find overclocking motherboards... something like the m5a97 2.0, or ga-970a ud3 would be the lowest end overclocking boards... for a few dollars more though you can get a solid overclocking board like the m5a99x evo

Both are good but Gigabyte has better quality.I have also come across a Biostar mobo and feel they are pretty durable and good too.So you can take your pick!!!

Or you try the Biostar AM3+ TA990FXE Ver. 5.x. It is one of their best on th AMD range
