Okay so I've been shopping for awhile and just weighing the cards before I spend the money.

I'm deciding which makes more sense the 760 FTW 4GB. Yes it has a 256-bit interface so 4GB is rather unusable but, I plan to run 3 monitors and it will help in a year or more when utilization of 4GB's of V-RAM is a more useful. I can't find real reviews on this card or benchmarks so I can't be sure what to feel on the card.

The GTX 770 higher Clock rates more Cuda cores and all around faster performing GPU, Though more CUDA cores isn't really necessary since games don't make use of such a radical number of CUDA cores. Anyway I need help deciding which to go with or and Alternative, cannot be more than $400.

My computer

i5 3330 3.0-3.1 Quad Core
8 Gb's Kingston 1600Mhz Ram
EVGA 600B Bronze

Sorry to just but in but I agree with EvgaLover, most if not all games do not require more than 2GB of GPU RAM. That spec does mention 3GB, but recently the companies are starting to use main motherboard RAM as well as GPU RAM so in the future I would expect they will optimise games for 2GB GPU RAM. However, from what I understand a multiple monitor setup does work better with the extra GPU RAM.

Oh and the GTX 770 is an absolute monster of a card, just saying :). Hope this helps somewhat.

you dont need over 2gb of vram unless you play like crysis 3 on full ultra over 1920x1080p. On 1920x1080p or under, you do not need it for the moment. i would get the gtx 770. its such a beast and with the acx coolers on the evga version then your card will run so cool

If you are about triple monitor setup you really should take the GTX 760. Also it, are you looking into SLI a couple of them, aren't you? because thats how that config makes sense, if you are buying a single card to run that kind of set up will have a bad time.

Consider getting now one and then, as soon as possible, the other one. That's when those 4GB of memory will start to be utilized.

Edit: If you look to play battlefield 4 its a good idea to run an SLI of GTX 760 4GB. Just Battlefield 3 used about 1.5 to 1.8gb of VRAM at the ultra prereset in 1080p, you can actually guarantee that Bf4 will eat up 3 GB in a multimonitor setup. There are some good reviews outhere but this one will give you a great example how a couple of GTX 760 4GB card will run in that and other games, also how is the scaling comparing to a single card.

Recommended system requirements
The recommended PC system requirements for optimal visual quality and frame rates:
Quad core CPU (Intel Core i5 or i7) at 3 Ghz
4 GB memory (8 GB for 64-bit operating systems)
A modern DX11 graphics card with 2+ GB of video memory, GeForce 600 series or Radeon 7000 series
Windows 7 64-bit operating system (Windows 8 is supported as well)
30+ GB of free harddrive space

I'm not arguing either. I thought you stated that there was difference between the origin game and some other game and i just wanted to know whats the difference, but ive read alot of reviews and they all recommend 2gb+ vram so i would go for the gtx 770 :p

I'm not sure what the difference is, heh. Just when I've read reviews and other people comments on the BF4 Forums they often mention how 3GB of V-Ram is the Requirement for running the game optimally, or at Max with a decent FPS. The 770 is very enticing, it offers great performance and it's effectively one of the best Price for Performance cards. I'm just asking about the comparison for games today and the next years coming which will be more future proof and yet practical for multi-monitor setups. I absolutely appreciate your input. :)
