Hi guys,

while gaming on one Gigabyte windforce GTX 770 4gb, i would average around 34 - 40 oC idle and never really exceed 70 oC under load

Since adding another one my idle temps stay pretty much the same but under load ive seen them hit 90oC... this is with both fans on 70 and two 120 mm fans venting the case. the case its'self is huge with more than enough airflow, with the top opening up to all ow even more airflow.

should i be worried ?

If you have the option to space out the cards a little bit better, that might help. Maybe you have another PCIe slot into which you can switch one of the cards? Sometimes when the cards are too close together, they create a vortex where one card is directly intaking the other card's hot exhaust (as opposed to passively intaking the warmer ambient air given off by the other card, if that makes sense).

unfortunately i don't as my mobo is rather small, and the cards are pretty much touching eachother. i know in theory these cards can hit over 100 but still its very worrying, so glad i didnt sli 580's or my house would burn down !
