I just assembled a new computer and I am having trouble. The components are: i7 4770K, MSI X87-G45 motherboard, GTX 560 (my old but still working GPU until I get the 780ti in the mail), G Skill 2x8GB 1866 RAM, XFX Pro 750w PSU, Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD, Segate 1TB HDD, NZXT Source 530 case.

The problem I am having is when I press the power button on the case the fans will spin on the case, heatsink, and video card, the motherboard lights up, but there is no DVI signal to my monitor and the mouse and keyboard are not on. What could be the problem? Thanks for any help!

Solution
You'd start the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed. If no beeps, you'd know that it's either the board or the CPU (assuming that the power supply does work).

Yes the CPU fan is spinning. I have connected the 8 pin cable, I even reconnected it to make sure it was in correctly.

So it will tell me what's wrong by beeping? How will I know what the beeps mean? Thanks.
