I would be very grateful if any of you could help with my dilemma.
I am wishing to upgrade my sad old MSI MS-7346 P6N Motherboard with the best possible CPU it can handle.(Hopefully to run BF4) Although the Q9300 is not listed as supported by this motherboard on MSI's Website i have noticed a lot of Specs posted online appear to show that some guys have successfully installed it onto this motherboard.
Could any of you shed any light of whether this will be compatible or whether an alternative CPU would be better. I am currently running this board with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 2.67GHz 8gig of Ram, MSI-N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II 2GD5 and Windows 7 Ultimate.
