hey folks I'm looking at getting this laptop to play games like league of legends on high settings at 60fps and perhaps skyrim at a reasonable frame rate as well http://www.amazon.co.uk/N56VB-S3181H-15-6-inch-i7-3630QM-processor-Geforce/dp/B00GKG1JFI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1388853659&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+n56vb

can I get some opinions on whether or not this is a good choice and if not can I get alternatives at £750 tops with an i7 and 1080p resolution. cheers in advance :)

edit: additionally if i wanted better bang for buck the pc specialist cosmos 2 can be modded to a 4th gen i7 , a gt750m , 1920x1080. however I don't know how much i trust the clevo chassis that comes with it , can anyone tell if pc specialist isnt particularly good?

Looks to be a great value on mid laptop. I doubt youll see high settings at 60fps though. For something like that you'll need a msi, asus, or alienware with stepup i7 maybe, but definitely better graphics card and will need better cooling. the one you have has an i7 and a decent mid end gpu, but im guessing cooling will be an issue and the graphics card and cpu will then throttle themselves down while gaming due to high temps. But for that price, maybe you could find a good used one, but from what ive seen that's about the machine youll get for under $1000 or so. You'll get medium settings out of it but doubt high.
