I just built a pc with i7 4770k cpu, asus z87-pro mobo, 16gb ram, seagate 3tb hdd. i installed ubuntu on it. installation went through successfully, but when i power up the computer it always goes into the bios and not into the os.

i checked the boot order on the bios. disabled secure boot. my mobo has a error led that shows AE code which corresponds to Legacy Boot Event. Can someone please help me with this?

Sounds like a bad OS on the harddrive, try reinstalling the OS.
