Hello everyone,

What would a good motherboard be for this system:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Thermal Compound: Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5g Thermal Paste
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" SSD
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB
Case: Cooler Master Force 500 ATX
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)
Monitor: Asus VS228H-P 21.5" Monitor
Keyboard: Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4
Mouse: Razer Ouroboros or Mad Catz R.A.T. 7
Headphones: Razer Electra or ...

I was going with ASRock 970 EXTREME4 but pcpartpicker.com says that "Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs".

1.What does that mean(im a noob) and should i still use that ASRock 970 EXTREME4?
2.is the PSU overkill?
3.Is everything compatible?
4.Can i get a better headset with at the same price range? (50$-60$)
(Sorry if i posted this in the wrong section)
Thanks for reading
:)

1. the support page for that mobo shows a fairly recent bios required to support that cpu, but several user reviews show people running this particular combo out of the box without issue, so maybe these mobos are shipping with a newer bios already onboard?
2. It's fine. Ok if you want to upgrade. You might want to check out a an evga 500w. It may have a better set of pcie connectors if you want to crossfire with that hd7870 in the future or put in a more powerful card(you might find one cheaper than the cx600m using the search function on pcpartpicker.com).
3.everything looks good from here.
4. I have no idea(not a real audiophile myself, despite being an amateur musician. LOL!).
