My 7870 seems to go around 75c during gameplay. the temp should be fine but my motherboard buzzer beeps and sometimes simultaneously causes the game to freeze for a second.

I want to clean out my GPU as I have never done so. Therefore I need a guide to cleaning the 7870 ghz edition. I google "cleaning 7870", but only managed to stumble across cleaning GPU from 5 yrs ago.
Does anyone have a guide to cleaning the AMD GPU? Also any other items i may require? (ie thermal paste)

For temperatures that high, you prolly have to change to thermal compound for the gpu to lower. Another thing, there are cans with air for electronics. You can get them for cleaning the fans.

To clean thermal paste off the GPU, looking up on some videos on youtube can really help.

It sounds more like an OTHER ISSUE such as:
1) System RAM (i.e. DDR3)
2) Motherboard
3) Software
4) Power Supply

*I strongly recommend NOT messing with your graphics card. If it was defective then return under Warranty but there's no evidence of that.

Troubleshooting:
1) run MEMTEST www.memtest.org for at least one full pass (or at least the Windows Memory Diagnostic)

2) run Prime95 from within Windows for at least 10 minutes to test the CPU (thus in part the motherboard as well)

3) Confirm any issues with OTHER GAMES or BENCHMARKS?

4) Look up the MOTHERBOARD BEEP CODE!! (possibly contact the motherboard manufacturer)

5) Try the 2nd PCIe x16 slot for the graphics card if possible (unlikely to be the cause)
