(Very New)trying to upgrade my PC

I have a gateway gt5676 I'm trying to make it play games on ultra...i don't have money to make a gaming pc i have a budget of 500 and I'm really confused i just want to play games on ultra MMOs and such what do i use to do this what components i was told fx 6350 and r9 270 please help me.

upgrade your ram to 8gb.get a dedicated video card (yours is onboard).and get a better power supply 500-600w.

the ram i would try to match with what you have.power supply corsair,and video card maybe an hd7770 or similar.

I am on pcpartpicker i see a lot of mach for items items like power supply corsair so you said just pick any PS corsair with 600 an 8gb ram that match mine and a hd7770 thanks can the graphics card be high ?

it comes down to budget. if you can afford a better card i would go for it.im not a gamer.as for the power supply get a good one.maybe some of the gamers here will chime in.
