Hey guys, I need your help regarding a motherboard for my pc.

I have the following configuration:

AMD FX 8350 4GHZ Stock Frequency
Asus GTX 760 2GB
Asrock 970 pro3 r2.0
8GB RAM Kingston 1600mhz
Corsair Gaming Series Power Supply 800W 80+Bronze

I was wandering if the AMD FX 8350 will run good on a Asrock 970 pro3 r2.0.
This is a 4+1 power phase motherboard, pretty cheap.
I have read over the internet several topics on the FX Series and about how those processors should run over a 8+2 power phase motherboard, such as Sabertooth 990fx, now since I do not do any overclocking, will I be safe running it on my 970 chipset (4+1 phases)? or should I get the 8+2 for stock frequency too?

Solution
Absolutely you're safe. I ran over to newegg and checked out the reviews and there was a customer that actually paired this board with an FX - 8350 in four different PCs.

Blast away :)

i have this same board and an fx-8320 at stock. now i dont know what this 4+1 phase or 8+2 phase means but will i be good overclocking my fx-8320 on this board? maybe using the feature that this motherboard provides that's called x-boost (auto-overclock to 116%)?

Yes, I think so. Our board officially supports fx 8320 and 8350, and as long you will be using stock settings: AMD turbo core and boostX it will be fine, just dont go higher overclocking.
Still a cheap board and we dont know what could happen.
Maybe someone else on the forum will post some other info.

so now that i have bought a new cooler (stock cooler is a plane engine) will i be able to overclock my fx-8320 with the x-boost feature on this motherboard? it will overclock it to 4.06ghz automatically but i don't know if my cooler is enough: deepcool gammaxx 300

Yes, you will be able to overclock it using the default features, both Turbo Core or XBoost.
I suggest you not to mess up the voltages manually or doing manual overclock tough.
Download HWMonitor and Coretemp to check out your temperatures during the overclock.

Coretemp reports you the core's temperatures which should not go over 61° Celsius
HWMonitor reports you the Socket's temperature which should not go over 70° Celsius.
Those are the "max safe" temps for the FX 8320 and 8350.

yes i am aware of the max safe temps for these cpu's ... but will overclocking my cpu void the warranty? i don't want to mess anything up and not have a backup =/ ... what are the cpu voltages supposed to be around? in the bios it says like 1.55v is max
