What mobo? and mobos seldom come with screws, assuming you are taliking screws and standoffs those are normally packaged with computer cases - should be able to pick up in most any systems shop

Yeah i got a bag in the case i dident know they where the screws for the mobo, does it matter what screws are in also my mobo is a gigabyte GA-H61M-S2PV
Try the screws with the standoffs first and see which fit the standoffs, then put a standoff in the case holes that line up with the mobo mounting holes, believe your mobo has 6 mounting holes...the GB should basically have two SATA cables and the back plate for the case, then a manual and a driver disk and that's about it

I started the pc without the standoffs in was that a mistake? i heard if the motherboard touches with the back panel it wont start or something idk if it is true or not
Well i took the cpu out and put standoffs in the motherboard dident seem to look burnt i unclipped the ram now i cant get the bloody things to slot back in
That happens, best to walk away for a bit and clear your head
Well i installed the cpu again hooked it all back up and it still doesnt work, i see on the motherboard that there is a speaker slot and i heard this is important for start up but my case or nothing came with a speaker would i be able to take it off my alienware x51?
All the power connections snug - especially the 24 pin to the mobo and the 4/8 ATX power to to the plug by the CPU?
Yep, ive unplugged and unscrewed the motherboard took everything out and put it back in again making sure all the cables are in properly allthough the cables look like a bombsite
