I had just recently built a computer with a asrock Z87 PRO3 motherboard intel i5 4670k processor a EVGA gefore gtx 660 graphics card and when ever i start it the monitor says no connection. I had recently had DRAM that didnt work and i bought some new DRAM and it is corsair vengeance 2 sticks of 8 and it said on the asrock website it was compatible. i have tried taking the battery out of the motherboard and checking all the connections and they are fine. I did plug in the 8 pin cable near the processor. If you could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the BIOS set to use PCI-E or PEG for primary graphics - may be looking at the CPUs on board GPU

Try booting the computer with no RAM installed and check back with us...
Sometimes boards are finnicky in their early stages, for instance; when I built my last PC I had to disable 3 cores and leave only one DIMM in hahaha
Which makes me think, try just one RAM stick in too!
