I am going crazy here !. I have the card mentioned in the title.
Currently the driver shows up as a Radeon Series 3400 version 8.850.0 from 4-11-2011.
My existing 19in monitor works fine on DVI port and I originally had another pc monitor on the VGA port.
Upon using a 32in 1080p TV-Monitor on the VGA port I cannot get computer to boot. It just stops.
I have to unplug VGA cable then it boots fine.
On top of that I can plug in the VGA cable then the tv-monitor works fine as an extended screen.
I have tried just plugging in the tv-monitor without the pc monitor and get same issue.
Also get issue if plugging in an HDMI cable to tv.
Have tried installing catalyst software but no go.
Is there a setting on the card ? Do I need a newer driver? Would rather not have the catalyst software, just want a basic 2 monitor setup.
