Just built a new computer. After connecting the tower to the monotor via a VGA/DVI adapter I get no signal to the monitor. I am running an FX 6350 on and Asus m5a97 le r2.0 and the video card is a Sapphire 6670. Annother thing to note is I have no internal speaker so I cannot hear bios beeps. Thanks for your help

Ensure that you go into the monitor's settings and select the proper input.

If you can get into the bios, you might also have tell the motherboard to use the PCIe slot for video.

The monitor has only the one DVI input and is there a way I could acess the bios and set the PCIe slot without a monitor?

I have also tried the pc on an HDTV through the HDMI port and get the same result

The monitor doesn't have an vga port?
If your motherboard has an integrated port to use with the video on CPU chip, then try and hook it up to that to get into the bios.
