I've decided to use spare parts I had around to build my dad a new comp, and while everything succeeds to turn on, it doesn't seem to work.

I've made sure all the power connectors were connected into the mobos and the GPU, I've also made sure that the RAMS are right in place. I also tried trying a different GPU, which didn't solve the problem. So really, the three last culprits I can think of are the CPU, MOBO or RAM (the power supply is fairly "new" so I don't really think it'll be the problem). I did come to accidentally end up touching the rear side of the PC (rear as in the part where the back of the CPU and mobo are exposed) so I'm thinking maybe that caused some kind of problem? I didn't really scratch the back or anything harsh, so I really don't think it is however.

Any suggestions as to where I should go from here on?
