I have tried setting device as default, Tried all 6 different ports, tried restoring my system to a point where they last were working, They aren't muted, yes they work elsewhere, Set in the bios to AC97, it's set on stereo, states that sound is coming out but I hear nothing.. Oh and yes, the drivers are up to date. Device manager states that the device is working as well. One day the sound just stopped coming out my headphones, the stereo port I usually plug them into but it doesn't work, I hear the sound of them waking up when I put them into the black port above that but still no sound. I have an ASUS P5E3 X38ll motherboard. Anyone know how to get my sound working? :(

If you do manage to get them working for me, thanks in advance

Plugged them back in, still says audio is being played and the Realtek Control Panel isn't muted, everything should be working fine. Still can't hear anything.

It doesn't come up as headphones being plugged in at all, It did at one point but now it doesn't register. I tried using them from the front but I need to check if it is AC'97 or HD Audio. The back panels seem to work for everything else BUT my audio, I have also tried reinstalling everything including drivers
