Looking for a cheap graphics card that will be capable of running newer games at about 1650 x 1080. I dont expect games to run at 60fps maxed out because of my cpu, I know its a little on the outdated side, but it will hold its own for now. Please dont be recommending me buy a quad core or something, im just looking for a cheap video card thats good for gaming under 80 bucks. I was thinking maybe get the radeon 6770? Anybody have any other suggestions? The 6770 is pretty good and stands at about 70-80 dollars on ebay. This is my rig:
Intel Core 2 duo e8400 @3gz 2mb l2 cache
Nvidia Geforce 9600 GSO (looking to upgrade)
550WATT Generic power supply, works well.
4 gb ddr2 800 mhz ram, only about 3.50 usable on 32bit os.
Motherboard is built off of a Dell Vostro 200. I basically changed all the parts of the computer besides the hard drive, cd drive, and mother board.
Windows 7 32-bit

-Video card, probably ATI because cheaper
-Under $80
-Good enough to run games on High res on Medium to Low Settings
-Wont be bottlenecked by dual core cpu
-Was thinking maybe Radeon 6770 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/XFX-AMD-Radeon-HD-6770-HD-677X-ZNLC-1-GB-GDDR5-SDRAM-PCI-Express-x16-/171209386290?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item27dcdfe932)

Thanks.

Solution
Nvidia's lower end offerings aren't great, the only one close to the 460 in the entry level would be the 650 Ti, too expensive for your budget

5770/6770/7750<r7 250<6670

I dont really like rebates, I just want to buy the part in full with out any sort of rebate. As a student with very little money, I sort of have to save up and I probably wont even use the rebate. Ive seen the 7770 on ebay for about $110. So its about a $40 price difference. Is the performance of the 6770 similar to the 7770?

Do you know any other Nvidia cards that aren't as heavy on wattage but get around the same as 460's performance?

GTX 460 is a few generations behind and power hungry.
HD 5770, 6770 and 7750 have similar performance
HD 7750 - Crysis 2 1680x1050 Very high detail - 23.37 FPS
HD 7770 - Crysis 2 1680x1050 Very high detail - 30 FPS

If it is in your price range, the HD 7750 would be a great choice.
If this is too expensive, the HD 6670 will offer similar performance but with higher power usage.

Anything nvidia though?, around the performance of the 460? Ive always considered nvidia higher quality and maybe I can find a good deal on ebay or something.
