Win 7 will not recognize asus drivers or find drivers online.

Did you install the ASM USB 3.0 Driver (not the USB 3.0 Boost Full Package)?

thanks for the reply yes i have tryed to install the driver from the asus cd and have tryed 2 different drivers from asus download, allso let win7 look for them online , when i direct windows to the driver files it says it cannot see them ? yours a very frustrated person.

The Windows driver update never finds drivers online properly. Never has. You have to download the zipped driver file from the Asus website, unzip it, and run the SETUP.EXE file in the package.
The file you download will be called: ASM_USB3_Driver_v11000_XpVistaWin7.zip

I have downloaded that file more than once and still windows cannot see it ,
