I'm going to get this motherboard for my gaming rig. Does ASRock make reliable motherboards that last?

Yes they are. ASRock have come up thru the ranks to be a great MoBo company. If it's meets you're requirements and has the features you're looking for at the cheapest price for the same stuff then I would go for it. Now if you can find the same quality and features from a different company say Asus, MSI, or Gigabyte for cheaper then I would look at those.
