Can i use e4600 fan on e7500 cpu?

I got this e7500 from a friend and was wondering if i could use the old fan to power it,thanks in advance guys.

Yes, putting thermal paste is pretty much required for a CPU, unless you want to overheat your CPU and have it crash every 10 mins. You can easily buy some quality thermal paste for $5 on amazon or newegg.
