Hello today after searching on the web and comparing prices for days I decided that building my own computer was the best thing I could do when it comes to gaming. My goal is to build a killer gaming pc that will run the latest games like Battlefield 4, The Witcher 3, and the new Dragonage. This is the components that I decided to buy. Still didnt ordered them because I want to hear suggestions from people who really know about building gaming pcs unlike me.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($229.99 @ NCIX US)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($149.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital RE4 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($90.08 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card ($704.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: NZXT NZXT H230 Black ATX Mid Tower ATX Mid Tower Case ($64.99 @ Mwave)
Power Supply: Corsair CSM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Optical Drive: Asus DVD-E818AAT/BLK/B/GEN DVD/CD Drive ($18.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($88.98 @ OutletPC)

ugh..

would be much easier for us to read and compare if you used a pcpartspicker list or if you put the product name/description above the links. as well as the prices.

This is one great build! but whats your mother board?
and id sugest a corsair 200r or 300r its around the same price as that case :)
And you dont need 16 gb if your not doing any video editting or anything
Youll be playing alot of games on ultra :)

no need to be sorry... but listing them in a better way makes it easier on us to view and comment.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($229.99 @ NCIX US)
--good
Motherboard:
--you forgot to add one to this list.
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($149.99 @ Newegg)
--no need for 16gb for gaming. 8 is fine. if you are in usa there is a great deal on 1866mhz ripjaws x on newegg for $68 with promo code.
Storage: Western Digital RE4 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($90.08 @ Amazon)
--i'd go with a caviar black or seagate barracuda. cheaper.
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card ($704.98 @ SuperBiiz)
--powerful card. do NOT get a reference design card though. get one with 2 fans (better cooling).
Case: NZXT NZXT H230 Black ATX Mid Tower ATX Mid Tower Case ($64.99 @ Mwave)
--i would suggest a non-flat front panel case. something like the 300r, antec 1, c70, 540, (you get the picture) for better airflow.
Power Supply: Corsair CSM 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($109.99 @ Amazon)
--i'd prefer xfx or seasonic. better brands. you can probably beat the price too. modular is good.
Optical Drive: Asus DVD-E818AAT/BLK/B/GEN DVD/CD Drive ($18.99 @ Newegg)
--your choice.
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($88.98 @ OutletPC)
Monitor: Samsung S23C350H 23.0" Monitor ($189.98 @ OutletPC)
--good
Total: $1647.97

z87 from asus.

could go with a z87-k if you like just barebones boards

though i'm quite partial to the maximus hero. the gene isnt bad either. for a matx system the gryphon isnt bad either.

of course you could go with a different brand besides asus... just what i prefer.
