On chrismas eve the R9 series raised price about 100 dollars on each card. I was wondering if they are going to return to normal because right now the nvidea equivant cards are cheaper (wich never happens)

They should, high demand and low supply is inflating prices. When the non-reference cards hit the market and supply levels stabilize, prices should return to normal.

The R9 series are overpriced mainly because of the litecoin craze. Most expect the prices to fall at some point but there's no telling when that may happen.
