I have a few questions about the Core i5 3570k. What is a safe temperature and what is the max temperature before It starts to damage itself? Is 4.5ghz a good OC?

safe temps are those that wont hurt the cpu or matherboard. too much voltage may also hurt motherboards vortage regulators.with capable cooling you may reach these ghz. cpu temps shouldnt exceed 75c.proceed with caution. if you dont know what you are doing better stick with stock clocks.
