HI. I've been trying to play battlefield 4. My laptop meets all required minimal except for one. The dedicated video ram. It says i need 512 MB.
My video card is an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Please help me. And if you do know an answer could you explain it step by step? Thank you very much

Solution
In most laptops, when you go into the bios, there is a setting where you can allocate a size of ram that the HD 4000 chip can use.

This though will reserve the ram in the system for the use of the HD 4000 chip.
So it is important that you have enough system ram to start with.
As windows will also take up about 1gb or more when loaded as it is memory resident.
So you need a large chunk of ram.

8gb is needed to reach 512mb for the HD 4000.

With a HD 4000 chip you are going to have to lower all the graphics settings and the screen resolution to play the game.
Or you will have a low frame rate. If it works expect a frame rate of 20 fps or much less

Its dynamic, so in order for it to have 512 for the video card you need 8gb of system ram...
