Hi, i want to set my 1T disk wd10ezex as master and my second disk 500gb wd5000AAKX as slave. Because my 500gb disk can't connect windows and I want to safe photos, it's reason why i bought new 1, but when i set jumper on 1T disk to slots 7,8 it still can't load and if i connect second disk, while is computer running, it doesn't do anything. My problem is that bios could see both disks without problem, but windows cannot see my second disk. I downloaded a lot of programs, but they all failed. I've tried a lot of ideas with my friend, but it didn't help. Thanks for ideas

Hi, If booting from the Windows CD, is the 1TB listed there? If yes, try formatting it, then exit without continuing the Windows installation.

Disconnect the 500GB before that, for not messing with the old Windows.
