I bought the Freedom Cry DLC on Steam. When I look into the properties, it says I have it. I downloaded the 2.8 GB update. However, its not accessible in the game. I CAN'T PLAY IT! If anyone could help, that'd be great.

1) View CD Key in Steam / copy the one for Freedom Cry specifically.
2) Star the game thru Steam, when the main menu comes up pick "Additional Content" which launches the Ubisoft UI Overlay, which gives you the option to plug in the CD Key.
3) Freedom Cry is now unlocked and you can star it on the right side of the main menu screen for Black Flag.

This goes for any DLC bought including Illustrious Pirates pack or the Resources/Tech/etc packs = get the cd key for that specifc bit, go into Black Flag and "Additional Content" Ubisoft overlay, plug in the cd key for each piece of DLC, voila!

Sometimes you may need to start your Black Flag saved game, let it load up, then quit back out to the main menu before the "You've now unlocked ___" will pop up in the program.
