BF4 Strange Scoreboard Artifact

My graphics card is a new Asus R9 280X DC2T.

While playing on Dawnbreaker on Ultra settings this artifact came up:

I have monitored temps with HWMonitor and it never goes above 76C so no overheating. So is this a sign of a faulty graphics card?

Are you sure? I turned the settings to low and then back up to ultra and the artifact went away. But I seem to be getting other strange artifacts on dawnbreaker like white flashing textures.

The flashing textures are an issue with BF4 they've tried patching this issue a few times but still hasn't been eradicated. If you had artifacts it would be consistent i.e.... not just happening on one level. I'd say keep playing keep an eye on it and see if it is a common occurrence before worrying about your hardware.

Thanks, but when I say flashing textures I mean sometimes the water and wall faces flicker into black or white. It isn't like the flickering from zooming in on a sniper scope incase that's what you thought.

Reinstalling the game takes hours and I don't think it will solve artifacting.

It can resolve anything that could have went wrong in the first installation (ง ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)ง

If anything went wrong in the first installation surely the issues would be alot worse.
