I need a PC for graphic design using autocad and 3d max. I researched the following spec:

Processor: i74770K
Motherboard: Asrock Z87 Extreme4
VGA: Zotac GTX 670 2GB 256 bit DDR5
Ram: Apotop 8GB DDR3 PC 12800
HDisk: Western Digital AV GP 1TB
Power: Corsair VS550

1. Will there by any bottle necks on any of the components? for example, with the i7 processor, would opting out for GTX 670 be a waste of my cpu spec?

3. Is Asrock Z87 extreme4 motherboard recommended?

4. Is Western Digital AV GP 1TB spec recommended if I want to access large files quickly and frequently?

5. Any other recommended spec?

My budget is around $1500 including monitor and casing of course. Please advise.

Your rig is fine. There won't be any bottlenecks with 4770k and gtx 670. I don't know at what price you are getting gtx 670, but gtx 770 for $320-340 seems a better value for money to me, so consider it.
Asrock Z87 extreme4 is fine for that build.
Try for an SSD later, but WD is also enough.
You might wan't to get some more ram later as it will help in graphics design. Also, try to get a quality psu. And get atleast a 600 watt psu considering you will be running gtx 670 on gtx 770.

Ok I will upgrade the vga per your suggestion, you were right about the small price difference.

What about fans? Do i need extra fans? or the one that comes with the power supply is enough?

As for the ram, would 16GB be enough?

Any recommendation for the SSD? Can i use two storages, where for quick file accesses, all the design files will be stored in the SSD instead?

thanks

You can add more fans to the computer cabinet. I recommend to use atleast 2 cabinet fans as you will be running hasswell cpu and they come really cheap. Yes, 16 gb ram should be enough for that.
If you want super fast boot ups then SSD could be good. But first get an HDD. You can use both SSD and HDD later. But first concentrate on HDD, you can buy an ssd if it fits in your budget to access your files more faster, and you can also store all you designs there.
But if you still be having some money left with you then buy a cpu cooler. Should cost you around $30.
