Simply want to ask that - " can the new i7-4500U paired with a HD 8850M can do a decent gaming @ atleast high or medium @ 720p resolution " ?
I want to play all latest games for 2 years atleast .

The laptop offering the same is ---- http://www.flipkart.com/dell-inspiron-15r-5537-laptop-4th-gen-ci7-8gb-1tb-win8-2gb-graph/p/itmdqgpddya6tqzx?pid=COMDQGPAX2TA2WZF&ref=0b51c7d9-abb0-4d87-b589-8ad2c6b5d619

And one more question to add - Does AMD Provide optimized graphics drivers like Nvidia does ? If not , is it good to go for a radeon card ( in this laptop ) ?

Solution
Yes, those are nice specs for portable gaming.

As for drivers, AMD has historically be worse than Nvidia at drivers, but it's really nothing that hurts the mainstream gamer, for the most part, so I wouldn't worry about it.

That is a nicely priced laptop from what I can tell, but do you really need a laptop? For that kind of money you could get yourself a very nice gaming desktop that will last you even longer.

It's fairly good on both fronts. The low resolution of the screen will mean it will outperform more expensive laptops even. Get an SSD for it later down the line and you're set.
