I was build a PC for my Christmas as it will be my last (big) Christmas, I was under the assumption that it was a "high end" computer as everyone who had contributed to the purchasing of the parts said that they got good hardware and software, I consider myself a noob when it comes to computers and i came to here for help. the main problem is low fps.
in games like starcraft , shogun 2, ruse and arma 2 ( all on mid graphics options) the average fps is 10 at lowest and 20 highest.
my pc specs are:
os: windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
motherboard: 97OA DS3P GIGABYTE
Gpu: NVIDIA GEFORCE GT630 2048MB
ram: 4 GB DDR3
cpu: AMD FT(TM)-6300-6 CORE
ps my cpu is running very low , 25%
and ram at 80% when in game
is this a hardware problem, if so any sugggestions, i was personally thinking of extra ram but if that was the problem wouldnt it be running at 100% ?

, rendering in 3d modeling programs is fine. also if i get a better graphics gard will extra ram be any good or is it just a better graphics card i need, i can get a good deal for 8GB of ram which will work with mine.
