Hi guys, I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Processor that I have now but I was wondering if I upgraded to an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650, how much of an improvement will I see? I do not want to buy an i5 or an i7 or an AMD Processor, I am focusing on CPUs for my GIGABYTE EP43-UD3L Motherboard, I had a GIGABYTE GTX 460 but upgraded to the GIGABYTE GTX 670 like a year ago. It is bottlenecking so I am just using my GTX 460 until I upgrade my Processor. I also have 8GB DDR2 RAM. I play GTA San Andreas but I do want to play GTA V and Battlefield 4 when I upgrade. GTA V is coming to PC March 12, 2014. "Rockstar Games said on their website.".

I ntel Core 2 Quad Q9650 is much faster than Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 it's 4 core and higher frequency. For me, Q9650 showed about 20 - 35 % more performance on multi-threaded applications and 15 % on single-threaded apps. So it'd a great update for you. And GTA V is coming to PC March 12, 2014 12:45 GMT +2.
