I just built my new PC and everything is running great except for my HDD isn't showing up in windows. My main drive is a Samsung Evo 840 and it works like a dream. I also installed a Seagate 3TB HDD but in windows (8.1) I can't find it when I look under "This PC." However when I'm in BIOS it says the drive is there as well as when I go to device manager in windows, and in device manager I checked for latest drivers. This is my first time building so I'm sure its some stupid mistake on my part, any help is much appreciated.

Solution
Right click on "This PC" and go to "Manage". Then select "Disk Management". It will show up there as a blank HDD> What you will need to do since it is a 3TB HDD is make sure to select GPT as the formatting system so it can be one single partition. If you select MBR, it will split it into two partitions, one 2TB the other the rest of the HDD as MBR can only allocate up to 2TB.
