I am looking to upgrade my wifes hard drive in her hp g7 laptop it currently has a Wd blue 500gb in it. It's used for mild gaming and mostly storage of pictures and Facebook etc.

The 2 drives I'm lookin at are 1tb western digitals a red and a blue

Blue

Red

Both are 5400 rpm drives I'm just wondering what everyone thinks would be a better fit for the laptop. Won't be in raid since only 1 drive bay.

Also I know about the 750gb black I have it personally in my laptop but was looking for more storage for her.
Also was considering one of the hybrid drives seagate make but have not heard much about them would do the western digital 120gb ssd 1tb hybrid but it's to expensive currently.

Thanks.

Nah, I'm just playing with you -- I have all 480-500GB SSDs and the GF gets all the 240-250 hand me downs, and is lucky to get those since I could palm them off on clients at a discount. I'd love a TB 840 EVO in my notebook but they just never got cheap enough this year. :D

The Black2 and Seagate SSHD look good but are still pretty costly for the significant other when they mostly check facebook and stuff.
