I'm building a new system, not my first build. i have a gigabyte f2a88x-d3h mobo with amd a10-6800k apu, and Crucial Ballistix Sport Very Low Profile 8GB Single DDR3-1600 ram, with a 60 gig SSD, and 350 Power supply. I cannot for the life of me get this system to POST. Any ideas? per pc part picker i only need about 182 watts. I cant figure this out!

from the psu i have a 20 pin, and 2 4 pin connectors. all are connected, the power button, reset button, and all fans spin, and the dvd drive spins up too. i've tried all 3 ports for connecting the monitor, dvi, vga and hdmi, nothing displays when powering on.

im going to go buy a 500 watt just to make sure, but it should be fine plugging the 2nd 4pin into the 8pin slot right? or does it literally need all 8 pins?

in the 8 pin slot i have 1 of the 4 pins. in the 24 pin socket i have the 20pin connector +the extra 4pin connector.

when i try both 4's in the 8 pin socket, the computer wont power on at all. and i dont have any computer shops around me, so buying a new psu would be the only option.

It seems so. When buying the PSU, check if 30 day return policy available, so that you can return the power supply (just in case).

I just went to the store and got a 520 watt power supply. It had the 4+4 connectors to fill the 8 pin slot, plus the 20+4 pins. Still will not POST
