I want to upgrade to 64 bit from 32 bit but I don't know if the motherboard will allow it. There is no where on the internet in which this is answered. I have a Intel Core i7 if that helps. I come here in hope I can figure it out, please if you know anything post an answer. Thanks.

Solution
Intel has not made 32bits-only desktop or laptop CPU/chipset since a few oddball variants of the Core2 generation. The H61 chipset is much newer than that so this should not even be a question... all Intel Core iX CPUs, associated chipsets and derived Celerons/Pentiums are 64bits; I am not aware of any exceptions.
