I have a msi B75MA-P45. Is that a great motherboard for intel core i5 4670k?

A non K 3570 would be fine. You need Sandy or Ivy Bridge ( LGA 1155 ) for that board. The Haswell 4xxx series are LGA 1155.

No. The 4670K is an unlocked processor for overclocking. The motherboard chipset ( B75 ) does not allow overclocking. You need a Z75 or Z77 chipset board to overclock the CPU. So you would be pairing an overclocking capable CPU with a non overclocking capable motherboard.

And I absolutely fail my reading comprehension for the day. They certainly are different sockets most importantly and will not physically be compatible together.
