I have a new build PC which has never had an OS installed, all parts are new just out of the box.
I am having difficulty locating an English retail copy of Windows 8.1 (DVD) as I am currently living in Norway. I have never owned a copy of Windows 8, nor do I currently have a product key.
As I understand the most logical option would be to create a bootable usb drive. Microsoft offers very little guidance on this and I am at a loss as to how to approach the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The PC I am currently working from has Windows 7 Home Premium installed.
Where can I find the information to enable me to create a bootable usb and get a legitimate product key?
