Should I Stress Test?

I am building a new gaming PC and was wondering if I need to stress test it. Also do you have to stay in the room during the tests to make sure something doesn't go wrong?

You should memory test it before adding too much software using the free memtest86 from HERE, then you should stress test with the Prime 95 Torture Test for a few hours while you monitor the temperatures with something like CoreTemp.

Thanks for the answer! Do I have to be checking on the PC or could I run it overnight when I'm asleep?
