i5-3570 vs i5-4570

Solution
Since the 4670 is cheaper than the 3570 I'd get the 4670. They both have the same 3.8GHz turbo boost. However, the 4670 is slightly faster. It's more like saying the 3570 is 3.8GHz and the 4670 is 3.9GHz.

For a non overclocked system get a H87 for under $100:
Motherboard: MSI H87-G43 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($98.98 @ OutletPC)

If you had to get a 3570 or 3570k then of the 2 you chose I'd get the Asus one. Excellent quality. The Asus mobo can support 2 GPUs, has more audio ports, more USB 3.0 ports, and the onboard SATA ports are designed sideways which makes connecting HDD/SSDs easier.

The 4570 is cheaper because its slower. The direct generational equivalent of the 3570 is the 4670. However, if you ever want to overclock you should get the K variant. The 3570k is 200 on amazon right now, and last I checked only 180 at microcenter if you live near one or have a friend who does who you would trust with your money to buy for you. Although for overclocking with the 3570k I would take the motherboard up one step to the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 I have in my build, as it has better cooling and power delivery. If you plan to NEVER overclock the non-k 3570 and the Z77 Extreme3 will be fine.

I don't think i plan to over clock? i don't even know what it means tbh.

i'm just planning to play my games one at a time. never doing intensive things. only gaming. never video editing or anything like that. just games. one game at a time. one application at a time.

SInce the 4570 is cheaper I'd advise that route. However, I'd get a better 770 model for a little more. Also, the case you choose is not so great. Lastly, switched to the H87 Pro4.

What about if i want to get the 4670K from Microcenter which is at 200 dollars.

what would i need to change about my build?

On second review. It's not that bad. I just would prefer a case with some good front panel airflow. You'll have to remove the removable HDD cage in the front. And you might want to add a bottom fan (ball bearing) if the PSU allows for it.

If you did get a 4670k then you need a Z87 mobo if you want to overclock the CPU. When you do decide to do that you also need a better cooler than the Intel one that comes with the 4670k. You can grab a Cooler Master Evo for $30 and that's good enough.
Here's a good low priced choice:

Or a better all around one:
