I have a 500 GB Verbatim hard drive and it has always worked, however when I connected it the other day it was not recognized by my computer. I tried all ports, on my laptop and 3 other computers and it would not work. I tried changing the path letter in disk management but the option was greyed out, and TestDisk said it was not bootable. Is there any way I can recover the hard drive? I have important school files, computer programs and photos on it, I would prefer to not have to wipe it, if that's possible.
