Wanting after market CPU cooler - suggestions? Tips?

Looking to upgrade away from the stock cooler that came with my six-core AMD FX-6300.

Would like for it to have a copper base and/or direct contact heat pipes.

Also need enough space for my RAM (all 4 slots used - RAM height is 40mm/1.58 inch) as well as inbetween the MB & side fan (about 5 inches total space for cooler)

My main usage is moderate gaming and 720p video editing/rendering

any cooler suggestions or tips for looking for what i need

I am personally not a 'big fan' of 'big fans' for CPU coolers because they take up so much space in the case.

I would recommend something like an Corsair H60.

- You will get great thermals
- Will not have to worry about ram clearance
- And will have a cooler which is practically silent.

@rwayne while i know liquid cooling is a better option, the main thing holding me back on that is the possibility of leaking. ^^;

If that is the case then I would recommend the Cooler Master Gemini II. It is a nice looking cooler and has a pretty good amount of ram clearance.
