I have a Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD2500BEVT 250GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5 that crashed on me and Im looking for a new one. Im not sure what to look for all I know is it should be in the 1tb range. Im not sure what hard drives are compatible with Dell inspiron mini 10. So any feed back would be great.

There are HDD's listed on Amazon for the unit you have up to 500GB so I would assume 1TB may be supported however a BIOS update may be required however since this unit is no longer supported by Dell, as confirmation you may want to check with them first. Worst case scenario, get a 500GB and if required use an external drive.

I have a Asus EEE which is out of support however, I upgraded the system drive to an SSD and purchased an external TB drive and use it when needed.
