Ok so i bought 2 EVGA 650 ti boost cards and ran them in sli after a while they started making coil whine, both of them, but its more of a Hiss like a water faset has. so i sold them and bought a EVGA 760. same noise just a little quieter, i took it back and had it replaced. and what do you know...the noise is there i have tried 3 different PSUs. an a completely different Computer and still get the noise. i am willing to do anything to fix it. what should i do.

Do EVGA cards just make that sound or something. should i just try a different brand of what... please help someone.

I have not had any problems with my Gigabyte cards. I have two GTX 670 and they have been supper quite have had them for about a year. A friend of mine had a EVGA and it made a horrid noise returned it and got a Gigabyte could not be happier.

With evga its luck of the draw really. I've had 4 cards from them. 2 off them were downright annoying faint hair dryer noise ( gtx 760 4gb and 770 4gb, 1 of them was okay, but had to be set to 37% or 47% ( those intervals only lol) gtx 770 2gb, on the fan or it would rattle, weird huh? 1 of them was PERFECT. I couldn't even tell it was on. The exact model on that one was this. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DHW4HXY/ref=ya_aw_oh_pit

Personally, I don't think I will be buying evga cards in the future, too much hassle to get a perfect card, and that's what you should get! paying all that damn money smh. It seems asus has better quality control.
