Approximate Purchase Date: Today Or tomorrow

Budget Range: $1000-$1250AUD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, School work, internet browsing, watching movies

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: All- completely new System

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Websites for Parts: www.mwave.com.au
http://www.pccasegear.com/

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU (Hopefully)
GTX 770
120gb SSD
Windows 7 64bit

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments:
I would like to have a quiet PC in a case that is not overly outlandish

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My laptop died and I would like to move into PC gaming.

Thanks guys for helping me out in advance

The parts you prefer alone cost $1056 (cpu cooler included).
That's assuming you would be OC'ing so i included a 4670k and the cheapest z87 board i could find.
You would then still need ram, a case and a psu.

$1338 total including ram, case and a psu.

Has a 760 4GB instead of 770 2GB (If you overclock 760 it'll be almost as good as the 770. With the extra memory it'll be better & cheaper)
Antec Kuhler H2O 620 instead of Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (Similar performance but cheaper)
Plextor M5S Series 128GB instead of Samsung 840 EVO 120GB (Same price, more space)
Cheaper case
More efficient PSU
Case Fan and Thermal Compound (optional)
Total $1282

Thanks guys(girls), for being helpfull however, I apologise if this is ignorant, I would rather source all of the parts from either mwave or pc case gear. When I alter builds to get parts from these two suppliers, the cost of the build goes up. I was wondering if I could have thoughts on this configuration and if i can get the price down any further.
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_list...

I decided not to have an overclocking build however if a configuration can be sourced from either mwave or pc case gear I would happily take it:)

The 660 should be fine then
It gives 35 fps on furmark which translates to 60+ on most games

That build is fine.
Just a note about postage though, with that amount of hardware be sure to choose StarTrack, i wouldn't trust Aus post with that much hardware.

Because this is Australia, and here in Australia prices are retarded.
