PC is coming in, and whenever I need to set it up, I have some concerns and questions Id like to be cleared up.

1. USB Mouse and USB Keyboard
Since the Computer has no OS yet, will I be able to use a USB mouse and keyboard to set everything up, etc.

2. HDMI TV for output
This is an important question, Will using the HDMI output from the Graphics card and putting it in my HDTV display the BIOS screen and be alright for setting it up? Or would I have to use a different form of display output.

Help is greatly appreciated

Solution

No it will work just fine. From the bios it will use the GTX 760 with no problems even from the bios. Since you have no built in video it will default to the dedicated GPU. As for the USB mouse and keyboard they should work OK also I see no problems at all.

I'm sorry, Im not really sure that I follow. This is the motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130679) From what I see it doesnt have any area to put any output for video in. Do you mean to say that using the video outputs from my graphics card wont work? (Its a GTX 760)

That motherboard does not have any video outputs as there isn't an integrated graphics processor on the motherbord nor the processor. I think the HDTV should work to access the bios. It's worth trying first if it's the easiest display to access.

So everything will be A-OK for HDMI output for setting it all up?

I mean I have a VGA Monitor I can use, but I was just wondering if the HDMI would be fine.

Yes, you will need a dedicated card then. But you will be fine.
