Hard Drive Failure after upgrading PC

Hey Guys,
I recently decided to upgrade my PC. I bought a new Intel CPU(i5-3570k) and a motherboard(ASRock Z77 Extreme4) to go with it, as well as a new power supply. I installed the new motherboard and cpu in the old case and used the same RAM, Graphics Card and SSD but now when I try to boot up, it gets to the "Starting Windows" screen, flashes for a second to a blue screen then reboots to a Windows Error Recovery screen. I have tried plugging in the HDD that I used to use to see if that would change anything but I still get the same sequence of events. Any thoughts on the issue or how to go about isolating where the issue is?
Thanks, James

Ahh, if you change motherboards you have to reinstall windows?
I wasn't aware of this. I've never actually switched from AMD to Intel before. I'll see if that does it.
    Thanks!!
  3. Backup important data and reinstall . ;)
